USA Team Wins Medals
The USA Mathematical Olympiad team won two gold medals and four silver medals while competing in the 50th Annual International Mathematical Olympiad in Bremen, Germany, this past July. Students were given six problems to solve over two days, each problem being worth seven points for a total of 42 points. The point total for the USA team placed them sixth internationally, with 104 countries competing.
