JSM 2013 in Montréal, Québec, should be an exciting meeting for members of SRMS. The Survey Research Methods Section will sponsor the following five invited sessions:

    • Privacy Preserving Record Linkage, organized by Stefan Bender of IAB
    • Recent Development in the Analysis of Repeated Survey Data, organized by Yang Cheng of the U.S. Census Bureau
    • Causal Inference and Data Analysis from a Missing Data Perspective, organized by Fabrizia Mealli of the University of Florence
    • The Bootstrap Method for Variance Estimation of the Complex Survey Data, organized by Hyunshik Lee of Westat
    • Recent Advances in the Analysis of Mixed-Mode Survey Data, organized by Jae-Kwang Kim of Iowa State University

For those considering an invited session for JSM 2014 in Boston, Massachusetts, begin planning now. The selection of invited sessions occurs in the early fall of the year prior to JSM. The deadline for submitting proposals for JSM 2014 will likely be in September 2013. The SRMS program chair for JSM 2014 will be Karol Krotki of RTI International.
