The department of biostatistics and bioinformatics in the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health celebrated World Statistics Day 2015 by holding a special department meeting with snacks and beverages followed by a presentation, “History and Milestones of the Department (1963–2015),” by Michael Kutner, Rollins professor of biostatistics. The presentation was followed by a blinded wine tasting experiment involving three Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons. Fun was had by all participants.
