The Harvard University Statistics Department is soliciting nominations for the 2016 Pickard Lecture Award to recognize an outstanding university faculty member.
The American Society for Quality Statistics Division is accepting nominations for its 2016 William G. Hunter Award. Also, the department of biostatistics and school of public health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) are requesting nominations for the 14th annual Janet L. Norwood Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in the Statistical Sciences.
Nominations are sought for the Jeanne E. Griffith Mentoring Award, the Jerome Sacks Award for Outstanding Cross-Disciplinary Research, and the Julius Shiskin Memorial Award for Economic Statistics.
The Committee on Excellence in Statistical Reporting Award is accepting nominations for its 2016 award.
The Statistics Division of the American Society for Quality is offering $7,500 scholarships to support students enrolled in or accepted into a master’s degree or higher program with a concentration in applied statistics and/or quality management.
The ASA Quality and Productivity Section announces the 2016 Mary G. and Joseph Natrella Scholarship, which supports student participation in the Quality and Productivity Research Conference.
