The Lester R. Curtin Award and the Lingzi Lu Award will provide travel support for students to attend the Conference on Statistical Practice in 2016.
The Quality and Productivity Section awarded two Mary G. and Joseph Natrella scholarships at the 2015 Quality and Productivity Research Conference in June. Each received a $3,500 scholarship, plus $500 for travel expenses and complimentary registration for the conference and pre-conference short course.
Nominations are being sought for this year’s Jerome Sacks Award for Outstanding Cross-Disciplinary Research.
Nominations are invited for the annual Julius Shiskin Memorial Award for Economic Statistics. The award is given in recognition of unusually original and important contributions to the development of economic statistics or in the use of statistics to interpret the economy.

The San Antonio Chapter is accepting nominations for the 2015 Don Owen Award, which is presented to a statistician who embodies the accomplishments of Donald B. Owen.
The Statistical Computing and Statistical Graphics sections of the ASA are co-sponsoring a student paper competition on the topics of statistical computing and statistical graphics.
Submissions are being accepted for the 2015 Biopharmaceutical student paper awards. In 2014, the awards were $1,000 for first place, $600 for second place, and $400 for third place.
