The inaugural JASA Reproducibility Award recognizes papers that demonstrate excellence in implementing reproducible analyses, generating open data sets and software, and developing end-to-end workflows.

The Statistics in Epidemiology Section will sponsor a JSM short course on the joint modeling of longitudinal and survival data, taught by Joseph G. Ibrahim.

As part of the Government Statistics Section data challenge, eight contestants will present their work in two sessions during the Joint Statistical Meetings in Seattle, Washington.

The Sirken Award was created to recognize a distinguished survey researcher. The honoree will give the first Sirken Lecture at this year’s Joint Statistical Meetings in Seattle, Washington, and receive a $5,000 honorarium.
