Sign up as a volunteer monitor to help with short courses and you can attend one for free. Monitors help courses run smoothly and, in turn, get to follow along with course content and meet the instructor and attendees.

The Section on Statistics and Data Science Education has had a busy 2021, with members gathering online to continue promoting education in statistics and data science.
Educational Ambassadors Sought
The ASA Committee on International Relations in Statistics is seeking qualified nationals from Ukraine, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and/or Central African Republic to serve as 2020 Educational Ambassadors. In 2020, the ASA will select two educational ambassadors to receive funding to attend the Joint Statistical Meetings and take one or more continuing education courses in an emerging area of research. The ambassadors will then return to disseminate the subject matter in their home country and/or region.
Quality and Productivity Section Sponsors JSM Course
The ASA Quality and Productivity Section will sponsor a continuing education course at JSM in Denver titled Big Data, Data Science, and Deep Learning for Statisticians.
Educational Ambassadors Sought
The ASA Committee on International Relations in Statistics is seeking qualified nationals from Cuba, Mexico, Nepal, and/or Vietnam to serve as 2019 Educational Ambassadors.
