Diversity Mentoring Program, StatFest See Record Participation
For the first time in four years, the Committee on Minorities in Statistics held in-person meetings for both its signature programs, the Diversity Mentoring Program and StatFest. The Diversity Mentoring Program matched 45 mentees to mentors across all sectors of statistics. And, despite Tropical Storm Ophelia landing the same day, StatFest welcomed approximately 170 attendees.
JSM 2023 Offers Ideas, Inspiration for 2024 Sessions
Since the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Outreach Group’s establishment in 2021, JSM has also become a focus of the group’s activities. It’s time to plan for next year, when the JEDI community will once again come together to share, teach, meet old friends, and make new friends.
