The Twin Cities (TC) Chapter was established in 1957 and currently has more than 200 members. Chapter membership includes professionals from the academic, public, and private industrial sectors.
Radstats Membership Available to Those Interested in Political Implications of Statistics
Radstats is a self-funded, independent organization with about 300 members, including 35 institutions. A key concern for members of Radstats is the extent to which official statistics reflect governmental, rather than social, purposes. Read more about membership here.
Workgroup Offers Ideas for Growing Membership
What should the ASA do or offer to serve the world’s largest community of statisticians? The Membership Growth Workgroup advocates a multi-pronged approach to connecting with specific groups within the statistical community. The first set of recommendations and endorsements are aimed at young statisticians; the other sets are aimed at lapsed members, industry statisticians, and government statisticians.
