Ann Arbor, Detroit Chapters Judge 2018 Michigan Science and Engineering Fair
Seven members of the Detroit and Ann Arbor chapters recently judged a poster competition at the Michigan Science and Engineering Fair (MSEF). The MSEF showcases the 50 best posters from high-school-level regional science fairs in Michigan. Mallory Snyder from Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy took home the top prize.
2016 Causality in Statistics Education Prize Awarded
The American Statistical Association awarded the fourth Causality in Statistics Education Prize to Onyebuchi Arah, professor of epidemiology in the Fielding School of Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Arvid Sjölander, associate professor at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.
