The Section on Statistics and the Environment is sponsoring a student paper competition on the topic of environmental statistics and encourages students to submit papers.
Paper Award Guidelines Announced
Student paper awards ($1,000 prize) are presented annually during the Joint Statistical Meetings Biopharmaceutical Section open business meeting. Student research papers with statistical content applicable to the biopharmaceutical arena are eligible for consideration.
Candidates Sought for Paper Contest
The Section on Bayesian Statistical Science announces its 2010 student paper competition. Winners of the competition will receive partial support for attending the 2010 Joint Statistical Meetings in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
