Michael R. Kosorok from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was named the 2019 Noether Senior Scholar.
The 2019 Noether Junior Scholar is Matthew Reimher from Penn State University.
Both will deliver lectures at this year’s Joint Statistical Meetings in Denver, Colorado.
The Noether awards were established to recognize distinguished researchers and teachers and to support the field for nonparametric statistics.
