Following the Bayesian contributions, Dan Nettleton addresses cell supremacy in “Testing for the Supremacy of a Multinomial Cell Probability”; M. Lu, Y. Zhang, and J. Huang write “Semiparametric Estimation Methods for Panel Count Data Using Monotone B-Splines”; D. Chafa and D. Concordet construct “Confidence Regions for the Multinomial Parameter with Small Sample Size”; and C. M. Schafer and P. B. Stark present “Constructing Confidence Regions of Optimal Expected Size.”

Changing gears, R. Heller, P. Rosenbaum, and D. Small weigh in with “Split Samples and Design Sensitivity in Observational studies” and Y. Ait-Sahalia, J. Fan, and H. Peng contribute “Nonparametric Transition-Based Tests for Jump-Diffusions.” Quantile regression is featured in “Locally Weighted Censored Quantile Regression,” by H. J. Wang and L. Wang, and in “Quantile Regression with Measurement Error,” by Y. Wei and R. J. Carroll. Y. Cheng and C. M. Crainiceanu study “Cox Models with Smooth Functional Effect of Covariates Measured with Error,” and Q. Xu, M. Paik, X. Luo, and W. Tsai present “Reweighting Estimators for Cox Regression with Missing Covariates.” Completing the issue are articles about cure models, length-biased data, generalized multiparameter likelihoods, and regression models for positive definite matrices.

Reviews

There are no review papers in this issue, but we encourage more people to submit them. A good review paper is a great contribution to the field and tends to be highly cited.
