FREE Writing Workshop at JSM

June 1, 2010 Leave a Comment

A free writing workshop for junior researchers will take place during JSM on August 1 and 4. The workshop will provide instruction for writing journal articles and grant proposals.

As part of their application, participants will be required to submit a recent sample of their writing, which will be reviewed by a senior mentor.

Applications are due by June 1, and successful applicants will be notified by June 30. Applications received after June 1 will be considered if space is available. There is no fee for participation; however, participants must agree to attend both the session on August 1 and lunch on August 4. Funding is anticipated for partial
travel support.

Attendance will be limited and depend on the number of mentors available.
