Plan to attend the SRMS Business Meeting and Mixer Wednesday, July 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Centennial Ballroom A at the Hyatt Regency Denver to learn about the section and find out the latest SRMS news, including our newest award winners. There will be refreshments (cash bar and free appetizers), as well as opportunities for socializing and networking.
JSM 2020 Invited Sessions
JSM 2019 is almost here. However, it is not too early to organize your potential JSM 2020 invited session; proposals are due early in September. Invited sessions include invited papers (two to six presenters and/or discussants) and panels (three to six panelists providing commentary about a topic).
An invited session proposal includes a session title, general description of the session, list of participants, and tentative talk titles. If you are interested in organizing an invited session, select a session topic and solicit potential speakers. Once you have a sufficient number of committed speakers, you can submit your proposal from mid-July until early September.
