Statistical Support-UNC Neurology and Social/Clinical Research Coordinator
Tiffany M. Kollah grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the proud daughter of highly educated parents who emigrated from Kenya to the United States for a better life.
Her undergraduate degree is in public health, and she loves the intersection of public health, data science, statistics, and research to help the public via her research interests and increasing diversity in clinical trials/research and mental health statistics.
Fighting many adversities to achieve her goals, Kollah was assaulted two years ago in her in New Orleans apartment while studying at Louisiana State University School of Public Health. She then transferred to North Carolina State University’s applied statistics and data management program. Today, she successfully works toward a graduate degree and excels in her research role at The University of North Carolina Department of Neurology. “Anything is possible with perseverance and belief in oneself,” said Kollah.
