- The 32nd meeting of the Biopharmaceutical Applied Statistics Symposium (BASS XXXII) will be held November 3–5 at the Embassy Suites in the historic district of Savannah, Georgia. One-hour tutorials on diverse topics pertinent to the research, clinical development, and regulation of pharmaceuticals will be presented by speakers from academia and the pharmaceutical industry. BASS will also offer a poster session.
- The Undergraduate Statistics Class Project Competition (USCLAP) is for students taking an applied statistics course(s) at the introductory or intermediate level in which a class project is part of the coursework (either required or optional). There are two competitions per year. The next submission deadline is June 18.
- The 2025 Quality and Productivity Research Conference will be held in Seattle, Washington, June 15–18 at the University of Washington. The goal of this conference is to stimulate interdisciplinary research and innovative solutions to practical problems though interactions among statisticians, data scientists, quality professionals, engineers, students, and others from diverse fields. The theme of this year’s conference is “Industrial Innovation in the Era of AI.”
- The ASA Biopharmaceutical Section Regulatory-Industry Statistics Workshop is sponsored by the ASA Biopharmaceutical Section in cooperation with the FDA Statistical Association. Each year, the conference lasts three days, with invited sessions cochaired by statisticians from industry, academia, and regulatory agencies. Short courses on related topics are offered the first day of the workshop. Early registration opens June 11.
