Submit Your JSM 2026 Topic-Contributed Session Proposal Today

September 2, 2025 Leave a Comment

Kristen Olson, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Submission is open for 2026 Joint Statistical Meetings topic-contributed session proposals. The theme for JSM 2026 is “Communities in Action: Advancing Society.” Survey Research Methods Section papers often aim to understand society, so section members may find this theme particularly relevant. Topic-contributed paper sessions related to the theme or on other relevant topics can be submitted.

SRMS members submitting a topic-contributed session proposal who want to have SRMS as the sponsoring section need to select SRMS at the time of submission. Each topic-contributed session proposal needs to have five presentations, including the discussant. For instance, the session can have five papers, four papers and one discussant, or—rarely—three papers and two discussants.

JSM 2026 session proposals may be submitted until December 10.
