The Survey Research Methods Section sponsored 18 sessions at the 2025 Joint Statistical Meetings: five invited sessions, seven topic-contributed sessions, and six contributed sessions. The section also sponsored one contributed speed presentation, three contributed posters, three roundtable lunches, and a professional development course.
A panel of three judges selected the following two posters as winners of the 2025 SRMS poster competition:
- “Novel Methods for Incorporating Complex Sample Designs into Bayesian Analyses,” presented by Anne Cohen, University of Michigan
- “Estimating County-Level Dental Care Utilization in California: Multilevel Regression with Raking,” presented by Yilan Huang, University of California at Los Angeles
The two winners received poster competition award certificates by email.
