CAUSEweb.org’s A-µ-sing contest has a deadline of April 1, and the winners’ work will be highlighted at the US Conference on Teaching Statistics May 16–18. Entries can be as simple as a statistical haiku or joke or as involved as a music video.

K–12 Educators Gather at JSM for Meeting Within a Meeting
The American Statistical Association sponsored a two-day Meeting Within a Meeting (MWM) statistics workshop for middle- and high-school mathematics and science teachers July 31–August 1 at the annual 2018 Joint Statistical Meetings in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The MWM workshops emphasize the growth of statistical literacy and thinking.
