First-place winners received $300, a certificate, and grade-appropriate graphing calculators provided by Texas Instruments. Second-place winners received $200 and a certificate, third-place winners received $100 and a certificate, and honorable mentions received certificates.

The First-Time Attendee Reception and JSM Student Mixer will help students learn how to navigate the largest gathering of statisticians in the world and network with their peers.

The workshop is offered for experienced AP statistics teachers and is designed to strengthen and expand teachers’ statistics backgrounds by introducing them to topics just beyond the content of the typical AP Statistics course.

Teachers will learn to use strategies and technology tools that support students’ learning and empower them to investigate questions using real-world data.
