Members of the Detroit and Ann Arbor chapters served as professional award judges for the Michigan Science and Engineering Fair on April 6. The event was held at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, with qualifying students from the state’s regional fairs.

This long-standing annual joint chapter event gives members a chance to recognize high-school students at the state level of the science fair who incorporated statistical methods into their science projects.

Continuing their traditional joint chapter activity, members of the Detroit and Ann Arbor chapters and the District 3 vice chair served as a professional awards judging team at the Michigan Science and Engineering Fair.

Seven members of the Detroit and Ann Arbor chapters recently judged a poster competition at the Michigan Science and Engineering Fair (MSEF). The MSEF showcases the 50 best posters from high-school-level regional science fairs in Michigan. Mallory Snyder from Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy took home the top prize.
