The Founders Award—No Longer Top Secret
Winners of the ASA Founders Award—our association’s top award for service—are no longer kept secret until they’re announced at JSM. The 2018 awardees are Marie Davidian, Alicia Carriquiry, and Dan Kasprzyk.
Samuel W. Greenhouse
Samuel W. Greenhouse was one of the founding statisticians at the National Institutes of Health, helped pioneer the use of statistical methods in epidemiological research, and was influential in the early development of the theory and practice of clinical trials.
