Researchers Receive IJERPH Best Paper Award
In work started at the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute and later completed with colleagues at North Carolina State University, Howard Chang studied the effect of simultaneous changes in temperature and ozone, using simulations from climate models. The resulting paper was awarded the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health Best Paper Award 2014.
Ann Arbor, Detroit Chapters Judge Science Fair
Continuing their longstanding annual tradition, the Ann Arbor and Detroit chapters met in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as a special awards judging team for the Southeast Michigan Science Fair on March 14.

A Conference in Honor of H. N. Nagaraja
Ordered Data Analysis, Models, and Health Research Methods: An International Conference in Honor of H.N. Nagaraja for His 60th Birthday was held at the University of Texas at Dallas March 7–9. The conference was, in essence, a celebration of statistics.
