ASA Expands Scope, Outreach to Foster Growth, Collaboration in Data Science
To better emphasize the unique interdisciplinary nature of statistics and its foundational role in the field of data science, the ASA’s Section on Statistical Learning and Data Mining has revised its charter and changed its name to the Section on Statistical Learning and Data Science.
