The American Statistical Association will designate one outstanding Mathematical Contest in Modeling team as the winner of the ASA Data Insights Award, and qualified triage judges are needed to assist in the initial review of submissions.
Modeling Contest Adds Problem, Addresses Energy Use
The Mathematical Contest in Modeling has traditionally been aimed at mathematics students; however, students with statistical skills had a unique advantage this year due to the addition of Problem C. The 2019 contest is set for January 24-28.
