Each year, the Ellis Ott Scholarship Governing Committee awards two $7,500 scholarships to promising master’s and PhD candidates pursuing advanced degrees in statistics and related disciplines. This year’s recipients are Blessed Mbogo and Aubree Krager.

Peking University Establishes Center for Statistical Science
In an attempt to become a top university by 2020, Peking University will establish a center for statistical science.
