Our 175th year is coming to an end, and with that come two temptations. One is to look forward to the 200th anniversary, 25 years from now. The other is to look backward at the past 175 years and assess what we have accomplished. Here, column editor Steven Stigler takes the shorter view and predicts what the future will offer the ASA in 2039.
