In honor of April being both National Poetry Month and Mathematics and Statistics Awareness Month, The University of Texas at El Paso’s Larry Lesser composed the following poems in the quirky form known as clerihew.

‘God Bless the ASA’ by Lawrence Lesser
Inspired by JSM being in our nation’s capital for the first in-person JSM since 2019, UTEP’s Lawrence Lesser rewrote Lee Greenwood’s signature hit song, “God Bless the USA,” to give the ASA our own anthem.
