Bonnie Ghosh-Dastidar Elected 2024 ASA President
Madhumita (Bonnie) Ghosh-Dastidar, a senior statistician at the nonprofit RAND Corporation and head of the RAND Statistics Group, was elected the 119th president of the American Statistical Association. She will be the first Asian-American female president and second Asian-American president.

Dionne Price Elected 2023 ASA President
Price, of the FDA, has been elected the 118th president of the American Statistical Association for 2023. She will be the first African-American president of the ASA. The membership also elected Nicholas J. Horton of Amherst College as the 2023 vice president.
Katherine Ensor Elected 2022 ASA President
Katherine (Kathy) Ensor, Noah G. Harding Professor of Statistics in the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University, has been elected the 117th president of the American Statistical Association. The ASA membership also elected Matilde Sanchez-Kam, associate director of analytics and informatics in the Office of Biostatistics of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the US Food and Drug Administration, ASA vice president.
ASA Members Elect Robert Santos and Dionne Price to Association Leadership
American Statistical Association members elected Robert L. Santos as the association’s 116th president. Santos, vice president and chief methodologist at the Urban Institute, will begin a three-year term on the ASA Board of Directors in January 2020 as president-elect. Dionne L. Price was elected vice president and will also start a three-year term in 2020. Price is director of the Division of Biometrics IV in the Office of Biostatistics in the Food and Drug Administration Office of Translational Sciences, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.

Karen Kafadar Elected ASA President
Karen Kafadar, chair and commonwealth professor in the department of statistics at the University of Virginia, has been elected the ASA’s 114th president. The ASA membership also elected Katherine Monti, formerly chief statistical scientist at Rho, as ASA vice president. Both women will begin their term January 1, 2019.
