The Biometrics Section will sponsor four Continuing Education courses and six invited sessions at the 2012 Joint Statistical Meetings in San Diego, California.

SRMS’ publications officer announces a webinar, “Practical Tools for Nonresponse Bias Analysis,” by Kristen Olson of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Jill Montaquila of Westat that will take place April 24 and provides an overview of the roundtables and Continuing Education course the section will offer at JSM 2012.

As 2011 has drawn to a close and 2012 begins, the outgoing and incoming Biopharmacuetical Section chairs have decided to shake things up a bit by starting a new ‘tradition’—a jointly authored transition letter. Not only will they recognize some with a well-deserved thank you, but they also will look ahead to new faces and efforts taking shape for 2012.
