ASA Journals in Need of Editors

Nominations and applications are being sought for the following editor positions:

• Reviews editor, Journal of the American Statistical Association
• Reviews editor, The American Statistician
• Editor, Journal of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Statistics
• Editor, Statistics in Biopharmaceutical Research

The deadline for nominations is December 1, 2009.

The Reviews section of JASA publishes review-type articles and reviews of recently published books relevant to the JASA audience. The Reviews section in TAS publishes reviews of materials related to the teaching of statistics, including textbooks; special volumes and proceedings concerning statistical education; software, videotapes, and organized sources of data; and Internet resources intended for statistical education.

The Journal of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Statistics publishes articles of immediate and practical value to applied researchers and statistical consultants in the agricultural sciences, biological sciences (including biotechnology), and environmental sciences (including those dealing buy ativan overnight with natural resources).

Statistics in Biopharmaceutical Research publishes articles that focus on the needs of researchers and applied statisticians in biopharmaceutical industries; academic biostatisticians from schools of medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, and pharmacy; statisticians and quantitative analysts working in regulatory agencies (e.g., U.S. Food and Drug Administration and its counterpart in other countries); statisticians with an interest in adopting methodology presented in this journal to their own fields; and nonstatisticians with an interest in applying statistical methods to biopharmaceutical problems.

New editors will serve from 2011 through 2013, with the transition beginning in 2010.
