This past October, the North Carolina Chapter of the ASA organized the International Conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The conference featured diverse academic sessions, including wild fires management, environment, anthropology, medicine, insurance, weather modeling, and network security. Highlighted were the research, teaching, and service contributions of many ASA members in North Carolina.
