Calling all singers, dancers, comedians, actors, actresses, and everything in between. ASA’s Got Talent is looking for YOU!
In celebration of our 175th anniversary, we will be having a talent show to creatively honor the study and practice of statistics. Engaging our members, celebrating our past, and energizing our future are the themes for this event.
To enter, fill out the form and submit a video of no longer than five minutes. While the entries must have a statistical theme, they will be interpreted broadly by the judges. Any element of a statistical theme will be considered, including costumes, settings, and props. All videos must be submitted by January 15; up to eight finalists will be notified in February and given the opportunity to perform LIVE at JSM in Boston.
The talent show will take place during the 175th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday evening. Finalists will perform their talent and compete for the grand prize package that includes a complimentary year of ASA membership. There also will be a best online submission prize for the finalists unable to perform at JSM.
