With its focus on the application of statistics to solve real-world problems, the Conference on Statistical Practice (CSP) brings together hundreds of statisticians, data analysts, researchers, and scientists each year.
The conference—which will take place in New Orleans February 14–16, 2019—also provides opportunities for attendees to further their career development and strengthen relationships in the statistical community.
CSP 2019 will again host a virtual Career Service, providing a platform that connects attendees and statistical employers. This resource is available to all registered attendees at no charge. Attendees can post their profile and résumé, search positions, and contact employers of interest. Employers will then arrange interviews directly with candidates.

The courses are very expensive. An one day-course costs 330$!! The registration plus one day-course = 740$. That’s a lot of money!!
The registration is actually overly expensive. If one is not interested in the expensive courses (because they’re expensive), the registration alone is 410$ for ASA members. For god’s sake it’s a 2-day conference (Not counting the expensive courses on Thursday). You’re really ripping people off.
I would like to attend but you’re making things very difficult. Not everybody is a professor with unlimited budget.
You could make things more affordable by giving discount/promo codes or something. You need to understand researchers needs; If you’re not a professor, you get a limited budget from your department to cover the costs for attending conferences.
