The inaugural Barry P. Katz Lectureship in Biostatistics and Health Data Science has been awarded to Leslie McClure, professor and chair of the epidemiology and biostatistics department in the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health and associate dean for faculty affairs. She is a fellow of the American Statistician Association, American Heart Association, Society of Clinical Trials, and Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine program. She is also president-elect for the East North American Region of International Biometrics Society.
