Trophy

Nominations for the American Association for Public Opinion Research Award for Exceptionally Distinguished Achievement, AAPOR’s lifetime achievement award, can be submitted until 11:59 p.m. ET on January 30. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the public opinion research field, which includes advances in theory, empirical research, and methods; improvements in ethical standards; and promotion of understanding among the public, media, and/or policymakers.

Any AAPOR member can nominate an individual who has made exceptional lifetime contributions to public opinion research. To nominate someone, submit a detailed statement and supporting documentation on AAPOR’s website.

Entries will be evaluated by a committee chaired by AAPOR’s president. The award is presented at the annual conference and may not be given every year. Send an email to awards@aapor.org with any questions.
