Election Candidates to Share Vision for ASA at Town Hall

ASA members are invited to attend a town hall on March 11 at 12 p.m. ET to get to know the candidates running for 2027 ASA president-elect and vice president. Hosted by ASA President Jeri Mulrow, candidates will introduce themselves and speak about their vision for the ASA and their potential terms. Town hall participants will have a chance to connect with each candidate in a small group setting. Participating candidates include the following:

James Cochran
Natalie Rotelli
Jeri Mulrow
Nicholas Horton
Martha Gardner

  • 2027 President-Elect Candidate: James Cochran, Professor of Statistics and Mike and Kathy Mouron Research Chair, The University of Alabama
  • 2027 President-Elect Candidate: Nicholas Horton, Beitzel Professor of Technology and Society (Statistics and Data Science), Amherst College
  • 2027–2029 Vice President Candidate: Martha Gardner, Executive Chief Consulting Engineer – Data Science/Applied Statistics and Quality, GE Aerospace
  • 2027–2029 Vice President Candidate: Natalie Rotelli, Data Strategist, Moral
