The ASA Anti-Racism Task Force has developed recommendations to support positive cultural change within the association and broader community. In this edition of Practical Significance, task force co-chairs Adrian Coles and David Marker present some of those recommendations and share insights they gained while working on this monumental project.

The task force reviewed the ASA’s internal structure and governance, as well as ways statistics can be used positively or negatively in matters of race and ethnicity. Coles and Marker explain why these factors are important. They also discuss how the task force’s findings will be disseminated and how ASA members can offer feedback, ask questions, and get involved. Visit the ASA Anti-Racism Task Force website.

Listen to this deeply personal conversation and be inspired to become part of the change. Also, don’t miss Ron’s traditional “Top 10,” as he offers up the “Top Ten Statistical Terms You Can Use in Wordle.”
