The Quality and Productivity Section announces the 2013 Mary G. and Joseph Natrella Scholarship, which supports student participation in the Quality and Productivity Research Conference (QPRC). Winners will receive a $3,500 grant, $500 stipend toward travel and housing expenses, and complimentary registration for the conference and pre-conference tutorial.

Two Mary G. and Joseph Natrella Scholarships Awarded
The ASA Quality and Productivity Section awarded a Mary G. and Joseph Natrella scholarship to Tatevik Ambartsoumian, a doctoral candidate in the department of statistics at the University of California at Riverside, and John Szarka, a doctoral candidate in the department of statistics at Virginia Tech.
