Nominations Open for Health Science Awards
The Teaching of Statistics in the Health Sciences Section offers four annual awards: the Young Investigator Award for promising early-career educators or researchers; the Outstanding Teaching Award for excellence in statistics education; the Distinguished Achievement Award for longtime service to the section and ASA; and Best Contributed Paper at JSM Award. Nominations are open for three of them.

Section on Statistics in Epidemiology Holds Annual Young Investigator Awards
The Section on Statistics in Epidemiology presented the 2018 Young Investigator award to six new researchers for the best papers in statistics in epidemiology presented at JSM. An awards ceremony will be held on July 31 at the 2018 JSM in Vancouver.
