COPSS Honors 13 with Awards
The Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS) presents awards annually to honor statisticians who have made outstanding contributions to the profession. Statistics Association Presidents Establish Elizabeth L. Scott, F.N. David Lectureships
The Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS) has announced two new lectureships named after women: The Elizabeth L. Scott Lecture and the F.N. David Lecture. The lectures will be given in alternate years at the annual Joint Statistical Meetings beginning in 2019.
