Q&P Readies for 2011 Conferences
The Quality and Productivity Section will cosponsor three conferences this year. Invited sessions, roundtables, and short courses are planned.
Applications Sought for Natrella Scholarship
Applications for the 2011 Mary G. and Joseph Natrella Scholarship, which will support the participation of two students at the Quality and Productivity Research Conference, will be accepted until March 28.
Q&P Readies for Research Conference
The 28th ASA Quality and Productivity Research Conference is set to take place June 8–10 in Roanoke, Virginia. Statistical issues and research approaches drawn from collaborative research will be highlighted.
A Message from the Chair
J. D. Williams, 2011 chair of the Quality and Productivity Section, looks forward to 2011 activities, including awarding the Mary G. and Joseph Natrella Scholarship and attending the annual Fall Technical Conference. Also, the section will offer up to five travel awards of $400 for students enrolled in a graduate program with a concentration in applied statistics and/or quality management.
